No. 9 shade can be used for arc welding of 20A to 40A, mig welding of 40A to 80A, and plasma cutting of 10A to 15A. No. 10 shade can be used for arc welding of 40A to 80A, mig welding of 80A to 150A, and plasma cutting of 15A to 30A.
